One of the key takeaways from @sydneysportspodiatry inservice on dealing with foot pain is that most people with foot pain need to stretch their calves daily.
The second takeaway is that most people don’t stretch their calves correctly.
So here’s the how to guide.
Keep your foot flat on the ground with your heel pushed into the ground.
Keep your hips and shoulders square to the wall.
Keep the arch of your foot up.
Your knee can be bent or straight pointing straight ahead.
Keep you back flat. Hold for 30-60 seconds
Repeat this everyday and let us know how you go!
