Will I need a referral from my GP to see a Chiro or Physio?
The short answer is no.
Physiotherapists and Chiropractors are primary health care practitioners and therefore you can see them for a consultation without seeing your GP first. However if a GP deems it necessary for you to have an appointment for your condition, we accept the governments Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referrals from your GP. This allows for 5 appointments with us that will covered by medicare. (See your GP for eligibility).
Additionally, if your condition would benefit from the assessment and input from your doctor we can assist you with this.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring any previous imaging X-Rays, MRI and CT scans that you have.
Wear clothes that allow plenty of movement and that will allow us to assess problem areas.
Bring your private health fund card; we use the HICAPS system so you will able to claim your rebate on the spot.
Complete and bring the above Pre-Consultation form.
What to expect on your first visit?
In order to allow plenty of time to hear the history of your problem, spend time looking at the bigger picture as well as discussing treatment options and starting with your hands on care, we book out 45 minutes for the first visit with each new client.
What are your opening hours?

How do I use my health insurance?
